Producers operate under a code of practice to maintain the high standards of WA Q Lamb. These guidelines ensure premium lamb is delivered every day. Guidelines for producers ensure all product is identified from farm gate to plate, and premium diets are used to maintain high meat quality.

WA Q Lamb producers work with a network of industry professionals to provide the world's best approaches to lamb production. Within this network, it is ensured that a high quality product level is maintained along with a continuous supply of prime lamb.

Hillside Tender Meats abattoir, a state of the art processing facility for WA Q Lamb, provides technical support for the production of tender, high quality lamb. Hillside Tender Meats is an award winning processor, and is owned by a farming family.

Quality assurance plays a major role in the WA Q Lamb alliance. This involves specialist staff that monitor the standards of the product at all stages of the production process. At all stages of production, the staff works in association with Health Inspectors and Veterinary Officers to ensure the quality of each lamb has been cared for according to `best practice' standards.

All lamb is processed according to Halal certification acceptable to the Islamic communities.
